
Description
The goal of this training is to provide general knowledge of PC components that are subject of every investigation in the field of digital forensics. Having a good understanding of components that can be found in desktop computers, servers, laptops and all peripherals is a must for every digital forensic investigator. Through a serial of hands-on exercises, participants will handle, dismantle and put back together almost every PC component. They will gain an understanding of the basic tools and procedures in these areas and gather useful references for further education in the field. At the end of the course, all participants will take on an exam and after successful completion will be given an official certificate for passing the course.
Prerequisites
Participants should be able to understand course materials presented in English and perform basic operations on a personal computer.
