We are pleased to announce that registration for the 13th International Conference on Digital Evidence and Digital Forensics, DataFocus 2026, which will take place on 19 May 2026 at the Zonar Hotel in Zagreb, is now open.
This year, the conference is once again held under the auspices of the Ministry of the Interior and will be officially opened by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Dr. sc. Davor Božinović.
The conference represents a unique opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience among representatives of various organizations, with a strong focus on modern approaches, technologies, and solutions in the field of digital evidence and digital forensics.
The detailed agenda of lectures and workshops is available on our website:https://insig2.com/data-focus/datafocus-2026/
We expect more than 200 participants from various sectors, including the public sector, attorneys, judges, prosecutors, court experts, as well as members of law enforcement, military, and security services.
The program includes presentations on the collection, analysis, and interpretation of digital evidence in investigative proceedings, as well as the growing role of virtual environments and artificial intelligence in the justice system. A dedicated panel will focus on crimes of child sexual exploitation in the digital environment, with particular emphasis on investigative challenges and inter-agency cooperation.
This year’s conference will feature leading global companies in the field of digital forensics and analytics, including MSAB, Cellebrite, TRM Labs, Passware, Elephantastic, Magnet Forensics, and ADF Solutions.
Workshops will be delivered by MSAB, Cellebrite, and TRM Labs. MSAB will run an interactive BYOD workshop titled “Making You Re-Think What You Thought Was Right”, covering the full analysis workflow through two key areas: enhancing data extraction with XRY Pro and improving team unification and faster collaboration. The workshop will be split into morning and afternoon sessions. Cellebrite will deliver the “Advanced Digital Investigation Techniques” workshop, focusing on advanced investigative methods and practical application in real-world scenarios. Further information on the TRM Labs workshop will be shared soon.
Technical presentations will be delivered by Magnet Forensics, Elephantastic, Passware, and ADF Solutions, featuring the following topics: Magnet – Streamlining digital forensics: Enhancing efficiency and collaboration with Magnet Automate and Magnet Review; Elephantastic – Tracking Digital Footprints: A Practical OSINT Demonstration using Elephantastic; Passware – latest news and live demo on BitLocker; and ADF Solutions – Satisfying the Landeck Ruling with ADF Pro.
