Beatriz Sanz Redrado has successful executive experience in dealing with corporate governance, risk assessment, internal controls and fraud issues on a global basis. Her track records include delivering high-quality assurance and consulting services to senior management and boards on governance, risk management, and controls. She is a team player and developer of people in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments with excellent communication skills. Beatriz’s areas of expertise include fraud investigation, internal audit theory, methodology and practice, corporate governance models and implementation, and business process analysis. She is experienced in financial management, analysis and accounting, risk and control assessment, organizational theory and behavior, corporate ethics, and fraud deterrence.

The presentation will cover three sub-topics. The first part will shortly present the Lithuanian forensic science system with IT experts and examinations. The second part reveals that practices of IT examination are the main achievements and problems in the system, including the disparity among the tasks and questions for examinations, long examination duration and lack of automation. Finally, the taken approach to resolve the challenges is explained, including the results of the ongoing EU financed project will be discussed and main achievements presented

Biography
Director, Forensic Science Centre, Lithuania
Gabriele Juodkaite-Granskiene is a director of Forensic Science Centre of Lithuania (FSCL) since 2004. FSCL is a state forensic institution, established under Ministry of Justice in 1958 and performing 38 types of forensic examination, with the workload of 4300 cases per year. FSCL is accredited under ISO 17025 since 2010. Also she is doctor of law since 2003 and the title of PhD theses was “Formulating forensic conclusions and their legal evaluation”. She participated in preparation of draft law on forensic examination of the Republic of Lithuania, which was adopted in 2003. She is the president of Council of coordination of forensic experts’ activities since 2014.

Head designate of Digital information examination department of Forensic Science Centre of Lithuania
Forensic expert of Information Technology in Forensic Science Centre of Lithuania. He is responsible for research and investigation of IT based crimes and analysis of information in memory devices. His areas of expertise include computers and mobile phones investigations: EnCase, FTK, .XRY, .XACT, UFED Linux OS basics, Methods of hacking. From 2012 till 2015 Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE).
