“Why I Hate Digital Forensics” on FSec Symposium

From 14th to 16th September 2015, Varaždin, Croatia, hosted by Faculty of Organization and Informatics

During FSec, a vendor neutral technical security symposium, INsig2 digital forensics expert, Damir Delija, will give a lecture on “Why I Hate Digital Forensics”. He will address various issues about digital forensics and general IT security or cyber security.

Lack of standards and standardization, various tools problems, interoperability of tools, organizational problems in private and governmental organizations in dealing with IT security and forensics. Definitions of terms, training, skills and knowledge, lack of success and interpretation of results. The aim of this lecture is to rethink and reevaluate above mentioned topics often not spoken but well known.
